In Chapter 3 of The Man In The Iron Mask of Dumas Aramis returned to the room where Philippe and ask if he study the King? Aramis was pleased that Philippe study the King but told him to hide because some of his friend were come to see him. While Philipppe was hiding Aramis friend were talking untill Porthos fell asleep which only left D'Artagnan and Aramis. When they were talking D'Artagnan ask why did Fouguet send so much money so Aramis told him that he wanted to pleased the king but D'Artagnan didn't believe that so Aramis said   " that I try talking him out of it but he refused ''. D'Artagnan gotten suspicious and didn't believe Aramis and thought that he was going plot against the king. Aramis conviced D'Artagnan that he wasn't plotting against the King D'Artagnan was satisfied and left with Porthos. When they left Aramis and Philippe wre spying on King Louis threw a peeping hole. They saw King Louis complaining and said that he was going to throw Fouguet in prison. D'Artagnan told him to wait because if he did arrest Fouguet now it would be shameful to the family. The King agreed and went to sleep. When that was happening two people snuck in King Louis room and were kidnapping him. King Louis thought it was a dream but it wasn't so the two people were going to put him in Bastille. When they went to Bastille Baisemeaux was confused of what was happening Aamis asked where was the note of Marchiali. So Baisemeaux took it out and Aramis burned it. Aramis told him some lie which Baisemeaux believe andAramis told him to make sure no one sees King Louis Baisemeaux agreed.
